Introduction
Payaut enables marketplaces and platforms to work with their PSP and payment method of choice, split and payout sellers in a compliant (PSD2) manner.
1. Sign up
Easily get in contact with Payaut by hitting the get a demo button on our homepage. Once agreed we will work together, Payaut will create a Sandbox account for you to start testing our API. Then, you can create an API call with transactions to allocate funds to your (marketplace) virtual account and the virtual account of the seller.
2. Select your PSPs
Select any payment providers of your choice (Mollie, Klarna, Adyen, etc.). Once your new Payaut IBAN is configured with the PSP of choice, the PSP will send the funds to Payaut. Payaut will gather the reports from the PSP over API/SFTP and reconcile your transactions automatically.
3. Onboard sellers
Add sellers using our API. Payaut will take care of the KYC (know your customer) process in order to be compliant with PSD2. Once a virtual account is created for the seller you are able to allocate funds to the sellers’ balance.
4. Collect & split payments
Payaut will collect & reconcile payments from your payment providers
5. Manage funds
Send split payments to the Payaut API in order to distribute the funds between the sellers and the marketplace. From the available balances, you can charge for monthly fees or manage corrections, and trigger payouts from the available balances.
6. Payout to sellers
Payout your sellers according to your needs. Use our scheduled payouts (daily, weekly or monthly). If you don’t want Payaut to take control over your payouts as soon as funds are reconciled, trigger payouts yourself using our API when you want to define the amount and timing of the payout yourself.
